Talking Dramaturgy: Another Zine – out now!
The second year of Talking Dramaturgy has taken a slightly different tack, focusing instead on one conversation. I interviewed Mihaela Bodlovic, an Edinburgh-based photographer who has documented some of the most significant productions in Scotland over the last ten years.
It was a real pleasure to speak with her about her work. The eye, or lens, through which Mihaela works is fascinating. We met twice over a month period. I asked Mihaela to select twenty photos from her body of work. We selected one at random, hit record, and started talking about it. The end result is this zine, a documentary play-text about dramaturgy, photography and toast.
The zine includes black and white risograph prints of works from Blood of the Young, Jenna Watt and Stella Quines, as well as productions at The Traverse Theatre, Royal Lyceum Theatre and Edinburgh International Festival.
